Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory, 1971 Wonka Bar (ORIGINAL LOOKING FILM ACCURATE)

Welcome all Wonka Fans..

Here we have what is probably the only film accurate Wonka bar there is currently on the internet and indeed the world.

We believe at Retro, that we are currently the only company making these 1;1 scale  Wonka bars which reflect the original Wonka bars in all their glory.

What you probably didn’t know is that most of the Wonka bars for the film in 1971 were made from cardboard and never had a wrapper on them, the wrapped bars were only used for close up shots like when Charlie unwraps his chocolate bar, or when the kids go into Bills shop, these are all close up bars, and the internet is flooded with them, but …..

The REAL WONKA BARS were made of cardboard and painted a dayglow Orange for maximum effect on screen, it was also a cheap and viable way of making Wonka bars in vast amounts.

Today real Wonka bars if you can find one, can go for as much as £15,000 each,

A few years ago real Wonka bars if found could sell for around £5000 each, but in recent years props from the film have shot up in price, and owning such a rare piece is becoming almost impossible.

I had the pleasure of owning Julie Dawn Coles Bar for a year, so I could perfectly make the bar  truly brilliant in every way.

Everything was measured for accuracy, thickness, colour, you name it, everything has been captured in this limited edition bar.

I will be making a limited amount of these bars, as they are a real labour of love to create, and take on average 2 weeks to complete.
