Dinky 103 Captain Scarlet, SPC…. ( TEST CAR, Prototype, Blue Edition With Sticker….Super Rare! )

Here we have a fantastic 1:1 copy of the Dinky 103 SPC.

This is the very first Test Car art concept box from Dinky …. The words….PROTOTYPE by Meccano, was printed onto a sticker then applied to the box.

The box has been printed on the correct grade of card and the colours are simply perfect.

If you were ever lucky enough to see one or even own one, then this is the box it would have come in,,,,

We only know of one person to currently own the original Blue prototype car and that’s Jamie Anderson, Gerry Anderson’s son.

Back in the early 60s Dinky sent Gerry a prototype car for his approval, although he loved the look of the car and Captain Scarlet being red, it didn’t really fit into the look

of what they were trying to achieve, so Dinky then released the red version which is what we have all come to love.

If you wanted to create your own Bue version and display it at its best then there is no othe box out there than this one.

We have even gone to the trouble of creating a prototype sticker and placing it on the box to make it look 100% authentic!!

When you get this box it will blow you away with its build quality and graphics, its that good.

Printed directly onto the box as it was in the 60s (NO INKJET RUBBISH HERE!!)
