These tags would have been stuck just inside of the boxes’ just sticking out so the customer could see the price.
Corgi supplied these to the shop owners so they could be displayed with the various toys that the shop keeper sold.
A typical shop keepers window of the 60’s would have had lots of these product markers around the window to inform the customers of up and coming products and price.
These were never sold to the public, making them highly Collectible among collectors of Corgi toys.
The three hardest toy markers to get hold of were that of the Corgi 267 Batmobile, the 261 Aston Martin, and the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
